Next month is National Poetry Month! The National English Honor Society is organizing poem readings on the morning announcements. If you have a favorite poem that is 20 lines or less, you can sign up outside of Mrs Rebestky’s room, C203.This is an opportunity for members to get hours, so sign up soon!

The libraries March Madness is already underway!  The first round is complete, but it’s not too late to join! Go visit the library or online at the LHS website under Media Center. The winning book  will be announced on April 7th.

Congratulations to Anna Spitale for placing first in the FCPS Secondary Science & Engineering Fair program cover contest. Her original artwork will be used for the front cover.  Also congratulations to Tyler Hanes and Joe Morris for receiving honorable mentions for their designs, which will be featured inside the program!
