Twin Ridge Elementary School will host their first annual TRES Superhero 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run on April 18th. The 5k will be at 8:30, the 1 mile race will be at 9:30, and awards will be at 10. Please consider signing up for this great family fun event!

Congratulations to Linganore’s Engineering Team, aka FIRST Team 686. They participated in the in the Greater DC Regional FIRST Robotics Competition last Thursday.  Despite some early difficulties finishing 34th in the qualification matches they finished 3rd in the Finales. A great performance and a true picture of the team’s awesome abilities, tenaciousness, and spirit were demonstrated.  Great Job Team 686.

The Boys JV Baseball team took on the Tuscarora Titans this past Saturday and came out with a victory, winning 6 to 4. Unfortunately they lost the second game 6 to 2. Keep up the great work.

The Boys VARSITY Baseball team played Tuscarora Friday afternoon and shut them out 5 to 0. Impressive job boys!

Your girls JV & Varsity Lacrosse teams fought hard against Winters Mill this past weekend. Sadly JV lost 11 to 6  and Varsity lost 19 to 2. Come out tonight and see them play the Frederick Cadets! JV starts at 5:30 pm and Varsity at 7 pm. Good luck ladies!

Our girls softball team who has started the season out strong will be playing at Urbana today at 4:30 pm. Come out to support them tonight.
