The voting window is now open for all FCPS students to cast their vote for the next Student Member of the Board of Education.  There are 6 candidates running for the office and complete details about each can be found at the address below. We want to hit our next level and get Coaches O’Connor and Conner on the news in suits.We have to turn our donation in today at noon and all proceeds go directly to the American Cancer Society.

Attention AP Euro students taking the AP exam.AP Environmental Science will have their 1st review session for the national exam on Tuesday, March 3rd at 7:00 a.m. in Room A139 (Mr. Sunkel).  Students need to bring their Barron’s Review book with them.

We are at the end of another season and it is your last chance to root on your LHS Academic Team. We compete for the county championship tonight in the Linganore auditorium. We will compete in the second match which should start at 6:30. We will be taking on Walkersville and Tuscarora in a furious frenzy of academic trivia carnage. If we survive, we will go on to compete in the finals later in the evening.

Please come by Mr. Burch’s classroom A215 at your earliest convenience to pick up your AP Review calendar.  Reviews begin next Thursday March 5.

Today is camo day! Thank you to all students who helped support the FFA in their spirit week this week.

For all of the band students traveling to New York in March, bus sign-ups begin today for seniors and will continue by class through Tuesday of next week.  Seniors who are traveling should stop by the band room to sign up as soon as you can.

The  Girls and Boys Basketball Regional Playoff game is today here at Linganore. The girls play South Hagerstown at 530 and boys play North hagerstown at 7pm. Tickets are $5.00. Come out and support the teams.

The JV Frederick Co-Op team plays tonight in the State Championship at 6:00 at the Gardens Ice House in Laurel. Come out to cheer them on!

Any student interested in playing for the Boys Varsity Tennis team must turn in their paperwork to Mr. Sunkel in Room A139 by today.

The girls track and field team will practice Saturday from 9-10am. Please come with all necessary documents so you can practice. Meet at the gym entrance!
