When we were younger, trick-or-treating was a time for dressing up as your favorite superhero or your favorite Disney princess and go out and get as much candy as you can. For some of us, that’s not in the past.

Is there a certain age limit for dressing up and going trick-or-treating? I would say, “No.”

It’s fun for teenagers to dress up in cute and fun outfits and some teenagers enjoy going door-to-door trick-or-treating. Others dress up and go to a  Halloween party or watched a scary movie like Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The Field of Screams is the best option for the super-brave. There was and is more to Halloween than just trick-or-treating.

Class of 2018 member Carolyn Payne says, “ If teenagers still want to trick-or-treat then they should still be able to because there isn’t a certain age to have fun.”

Class of 2019 member Summer McClellan says, “There is nothing wrong with getting candy and dressing up.”

Remember that in just a few short years, you will be the one handing out the candy.
