The Linganore marching band is busy preparing for the upcoming fall season. Two of the most important events in preparing band students are Mini Band Camp and Band Camp.

Even before graduation, the band welcomes their freshmen entering the band program next season. The freshmen learn how to stand at attention, march, and be proud members of the Linganore band.

Many new students are joining band this year, including freshmen flute players Emily Seth, Erika Katsmoto,  Elizabeth Wallace, Avalon Gravley, Megan Warren, Rachel Miller, and Penny Owens.

This is a very exciting time for incoming freshmen. New band student Emily Seth says, “I have never been in a group this big in my entire life, and I am very excited.”

The show this year is called the Tribal Effect.

Mini Band Camp is June 4th, 6th, 9th, and 11th.
