Senior Write up forms that are included in the senior section of the 2015 yearbook, are due by Sept 30 outside room A206. Forms were mailed home earlier this month. If you did not receive one, please pick one up outside room A206.

As you may know, September is Spanish Heritage Month, and the National Spanish Honor Society is celebrating with a contest. Each week through October 15th, there will be a different clue read. Any guesses should be written on a piece of paper and put in the box inside Room C227. Next week, we will announce the winner who will receive a small prize. The Clue is: “This Hispanic person was elected to the New Mexico State Legislature in 1922. This person was the 2nd ever Hispanic member of the U.S. Senate and was honored by the U.S. Postal Service with a 35 cent  Great Americans Series postage stamp between 1980 and 2000.” Thanks for participating and good luck!

In sports related news,

Congratulations to the LHS Golf team who crushed TJ yesterday to remain undefeated in the conference. Ryan Gilmartin shot a 41 and Drew Twillman followed with a 42.  Way to go team.

The varsity field hockey girls fought a tough game last night against Westminster. Unfortunately the game was lost with a score of 5-2.
