The Linganore music and drama departments have several spring events coming up! All events start at 7:00 pm.  Show your FCPS I.D. at the box office for a free ticket. Last  night the Bands and Orchestras played several excellent pieces, thank you to anyone who came out to support them. Next Tuesday, May 6, is “Meet the Beatles” with the Jazz Ensemble!  All Beatles, all evening long! Thursday, May 8  is the Advanced Drama Production, which  includes scenes, monologues and fight choreography. Tuesday, May 13, the award-winning Vocal Ensemble will put on their final performance of the year. And lastly, Monday, May 19 there is  the Advanced Dance Showcase! Come out to support all these wonderful people.

If you’re taking an AP test, exam location charts can be found outside the AP office.  Please check the chart for exact exam locations prior to your exam date.  Students are reminded to arrive 20 minutes prior to the start time of an exam.  Please stop by the AP office if you have any questions.

Juniors and Seniors, if you are planning to attend the prom please have your obligations turned in by Wednesday, May 7, otherwise you will not be admitted into the prom.  All students grade 9, and 10 and those not planning to attend prom please have all obligations to Mrs. Roderick by May 23, 2014.  All obligations, books, cash, checks, any and all others go to Mrs. Roderick in the front office

Linganore Softball will be hosting a Playoff Bracket Bash at Buffalo Wild Wings in Frederick on Tues May 6th from 5-8 pm.  Come out and join the team as they celebrate the start of playoffs with delicious food and good fun!  15% of all food sales will be donated to the Linganore softball program.  A Buffalo Wild Wings ticket needs to be presented to your server when paying the bill. Tickets are available outside Coach Poff’s office or see Ms. Aburto.  There will also be tickets available at Buffalo Wild Wings…find a softball player or Coach Poff when you get there!

The Unified Track & Field team will hold an important practice on Thursday, May 1 from 2:30-3:30pm at the stadium in preparation for the state track meet to be held on Tuesday, May 6. Unified team members should be prepared to attend an important TEAM MEETING at 2:30,  if outdoor practice is cancelled due to weather conditions. The meeting location will be on  Main Street in front of the cafeteria and will last 30 minutes. Please be present!
