A representative from Frederick Community College will be visiting Linganore on Thursday this week.  If you would like to learn more about the admissions process, please sign up to meet with them.  Seniors can sign up using  NAVIANCE and Juniors should see Ms. Riley in Student Services.

REMINDER to all Animal 101 Club Members that your next meeting will be November 19.  Please do not forget to bring in your Yankee Candle Order Packets and checks to the club meeting.

The Linganore FFA will be hosting a Dine-Out Night at Buffalo Wild Wings in Frederick TOMORROW from 6-9 pm.  15% of sales will go to the FFA program.  You must present the flyer when paying your bill.  Flyers are available in the front office or see Ms. Beachy.  Come eat a delicious meal and support the Linganore FFA!

The Men’s Society is hosting Manvember, a contest to see who can grow the most facial hair in one month, this November, at LHS.  On Friday,  tickets will be given out, and pictures will be taken.  After your picture is taken, you will get a ticket.  Your ticket will allow you to participate in Manvember.  All can participate, as long as you have your ticket and we have a confirmed picture of you.  So, male Lancers, we’ll see you on Friday!

If any seniors have ‘Now and Then’ pictures to be used in the senior section of the year book, please email them to [email protected] by November 20.

Attention Band Members:  Concert Band rehearsals for the upcoming Holiday Concert begin TODAY from 2:45-5:30 in the band room.  See Mr. Lloyd with any questions.

Congratulations to our Linganore Marching Band on their performance at the recent Brunswick Veterans Day Parade, the largest of its kind in Maryland.  Our Lancer Band placed first among all participating bands and brought home a $250 award.  The band’s next performance will be at this Friday’s football playoff game.

Any students who are interested in Indoor Color Guard should sign up on the form on the wall outside Mr. Dye’s room.  Students can sign up by Friday, November 14.The first meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 18.

If you are interested in playing on this year’s Unified Sports Bocce Ball Team, you must attend a brief meeting after school tomorrow, Wednesday, November 12. It will be held in Room A139 with Mr. Sunkel. Important paperwork will be handed out.
