If you’re a senior who would like a baby ad in the yearbook, the discount deadline is fast approaching. Reminder that the the discount deadline is until Sept 12th. Extra order forms can be found outside room A206 or on the LHS website under YEARBOOK INFO link.

Juniors and seniors who are parking on campus must purchase a 2014-2015 parking permit from Ms. Roderick in the front office no later than tomorrow, September 5.  Beginning Monday, September 8 students that park on campus without a current parking permit will be ticketed.  Students are reminded to park in approved student parking areas only.

It’s time to apply for honors societies! If you are interested in joining the National Mathematics Honor Society known as Mu Alpha Theta, please stop by Room A140 to pick up an application. All applications are due Thursday, September 18. Please see Mrs. Purgason if you have any questions.

RHO Kappa is accepting applications for admittance to the National History Honor Society.  Please see Ms. Richardson in room A219.  Application are due September 13th.

Any junior or senior interested in being a member of the Science National Honor Society should sign up today in the cafeteria during the student activity fair.

In sport related news, The LHS Golf team claimed victory against Oakdale with a score of 153 to 185 yesterday. Ryan Gilmartin and Brent Wilkerson tied for low medalist, each shooting a smooth 36. Andrew Blockinger tied his season low with a 38. Congrats!

The Unified Tennis team will have practice today from 2:45-3:45 p.m

Here at Linganore, clubs play a  big part in student’s schedule. The Student Activity Fair will be held today during all lunch shifts. All students will have an opportunity to visit the displays and to sign-up for the clubs they are interested in joining.
