Any members of the Science National Honor Society who are in need of community service hours can volunteer for the December evening shows at the Earth Space Science Laboratory in Frederick.  There are 9 openings. See Mr. Sunkel in Room A139 if interested.

All band members! Sign-up sheets are available in the band room for three university honor bands: Towson University, Shepherd University and Virginia Tech.  The deadline for signing up is this Tuesday, October 14 at 3:00 pm.  Please see Mr. Lloyd with any questions.

Also, Any second semester band students who have not received a fall fundraiser packet should pick one in the band room.  The due date for orders and money is next Thursday, October 16.

Tonight is the Frederick County Marching Band Festival at Linganore High School and we will be using both sides of our parking lot for visitors, buses and truck parking.  We ask that all students and staff move your vehicles by 3pm this afternoon off of both sides of the front parking lot and into other parking areas around our school.

National Honor Society Applications are due TODAY by 2:30pm to Mrs. Sands in room C221 or Mr. Lake in room C124.

Congratulations to the Varisty football team who continued their undefeated winning streak after defeating Oakdale last Friday with a score of 35-13.

This past Saturday the JV volleyball team won the JV County Championship tournament over Middletown in the championship game. Congratulations girls!

The Varsity Boys Soccer team also took home well-earned victories against TJ with a score of 2-1 and JV with a 3-0. Great job guys!

Varsity field hockey has a game today at Brunswick High. It will start at 4 pm. Good luck ladies!
