Congratulations to Latin students Annee Lyons and Chris Maze for their awards on the National Classical Literacy Exam. The exam is a very challenging test of ancient languages, cultures, people, and events who have influenced modern English language and literature. Chris earned a Bronze medal, and Annee earned a silver medal. Great job Lancers!

Congratulations to senior Brad Eisenhauer! Yesterday, he was accepted into two professional level juried photography shows: the Mix It Up Show at the Frederick Memorial Hospital Crestwood Art Gallery and the Focal Point Photography Show at the Circle Gallery in Annapolis. Way to go Brad!

Congratulations to the Linganore JV Baseball team for their triumphant victory over Brunswick on Saturday with a whopping score of 8-1. Great job!

Speaking of Brunswick, congratulations to the Linganore JV Softball team for their win over Brunswick on Saturday with a score of 18-7. Good work, ladies!

There were lots of wins this weekend: Congratulations to the varsity baseball team for their impressive victory over TJ on Friday with a score of 12-2 and congratulations to the varsity softball team for their win over TJ with a score of 14-4.

And in the world of tennis, our boys’ tennis team COMPLETELY DESTROYED TJ with a score of 3-2. Outstanding work! Our girls’ tennis team also cranked out a difficult win over TJ with a score of 3-2.

 Please make sure to come out to the Varsity Lacrosse game against Walkersville tonight at Linganore at 7 p.m. It’s senior night too, so come out to cheer on your team and bid farewell to the lacrosse team’s seniors!

 In honor of National Poetry Month, the National English Honor Society is holding their Favorite Poem Project on April 21st. Come watch teachers, students, and members of the community recite a poem that they enjoy.
