On Wednesday evening, the world languages department held their annual induction ceremony. They welcomed new members as well as the new staff for each society.

It was also an exciting evening for the German Club. German teacher,  Frau Freimuth,  organized the first and only German Honor Society in Frederick County. They inducted 17 new members and gave cords to 11 seniors.

The French Honor society inducted 53 members and gave cords to 14 seniors.

The Spanish Honor society inducted 19 new members and gave cords to 37 seniors. The Spanish Honor Society is one of three in Frederick County.

When the ceremony was over, everyone gathered in the cafeteria for home baked refreshments.

Seniors Grace DeMember and Johnny Jameson performed a Spanish song called “Me Enamora” during the induction ceremony.
