Giving Tuesday is the Tuesday after Thanksgiving Day.  There’s Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday, and now,  Giving Tuesday.  It doesn’t matter how much a person gives; it’s a day devoted to volunteering and to drives that raise money for a cause.  LHS SGA chose to raise money for Unified Sports, including tennis, Bocce Ball, and track and field. There were buckets in each class throughout the school and at 2:00, there was one minute for students to empty out change to put in their class’ bucket. Overall, LHS was able to collect about $450 in one minute. $9 million was donated from Maryland alone.
