The flag in front of LHS was flown at half mast today in memory of the 2,753 people who died in the terrorist attacks on 9/11/2001.
In addition, the school gathered to show their respect in numerous ways, including a moment of silence during the morning announcements.
Several classes showed their respects by teaching lessons associated with the attacks, which took place thirteen years ago today. Today, the 9/11 memorial museum, located at the site of the attacks in Manhattan, unveiled a new exhibit. The exhibit includes new artifacts from the rubble of the World Trade Center and a segment on the hunt for Bin Laden.
