Wednesday- wacky tacky day, pink out t-shirts, lunch competition

Wednesday was Wacky Tacky day. Students went to school sporting wacky and tacky clothes, and each person that wore clothes won points for their class.

The lunchtime competitions continued Wednesday. One student from each grade at each of the four lunch shifts participated in the ‘vaseline and cotton ball’ competition, in which the contestant moved cotton balls into a bowl using only their nose, coated with vaseline.

Points will accumulate towards the class’ total for Homecoming week. Points are awarded for spirit days and other events throughout the week. The class that accumulates the most points will be awarded the spirit stick on Friday, will be dubbed the most spirited class at LHS, and will win $400 to the class treasury.

 

The Pink Out 2013 T-shirts were distributed Wednesday to those who preordered their shirts. There are only a limited number available and will continue to sell until they are completely sold out. Shirts are $13. They will be sold Thursday and Friday at lunch, and at Friday’s football game until they are sold out. More
