Don’t forget…Back to School Night is tonight!  Open House for classroom visits and meet and greet the teachers and administrators will be held from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm.  The Marketplace, where you can purchase school apparel, join the SGA, PTSA, Sports Boosters and Band Boosters, will be open from 7:00 – 8:30 pm.  You can also pre-order your 2017 yearbook for the discounted price of $60.00 during Back to School Night!  And, if you join the PTSA, you will receive an additional $10.00 discount off the yearbook price!  This special offer is only valid tonight.  Both cash and checks will be accepted.  Checks should be made payable to LHS.

Attention student drivers:  As a reminder, the marching band practices on the front student parking lot TONIGHT.  Please make sure to move your car by 4:30 pm.  Also for drivers, student parking permits must be purchased by Friday, September 2nd. Are you thinking about a career in architecture, construction, or engineering?  If so, you may want to apply to be part of the ACE Mentor Program.  Monthly meetings take place at local businesses.  The focus is on developing solutions to design problems with the help of professionals in the industry.  Students in grades 10-12 may apply online by Wednesday, August 31st, so apply today!  Visit www.acementor.org  and click on the link for students.  Look for the purple posters in the hallways with this information.
