Brynne McKinney

Brynne Mckinney will be attending Slippery Rock University. She plans to major in physical therapy. She is a member of Future Farmers of America and National Honor Society. Mckinney enjoys horseback riding in her free time. She is currently interning at Rehab 2 Perform, a physical therapy wellness center and works at a daycare. 

What has been your favorite memory at Linganore?

“My favorite memory at Linganore is probably when I brought my pony to school for my horse care and management class.”

 What are you going to miss most after graduating? 

“I’m gonna miss my friends and a few special teachers after I graduate.”

Do you feel pressure to have your future be decided already?

“I do not feel pressured that my future is already decided. It makes me feel excited to start my next chapter in life and move on.”

Best High School memory? 

“This year’s homecoming is my best memory.”

What is the most challenging task as a senior?

“The most challenging part of being a senior is having motivation to keep up with school work. We are so close to graduating and I just want it to come as soon as possible.”

What advice do you have for incoming freshmen?

“Advice I have for incoming freshmen is don’t try so hard and do not think this is your one and only shot.”

Where do you imagine yourself 10 years from now?

“I imagine myself 10 years from now working as a physical therapist/athletic trainer for either a sports team or a clinic.”

What was the most meaningful assignment a teacher ever had you do?

“The most meaningful assignment a teacher ever gave me was probably this disease project I did in my health class because it made me feel closer to my family history.”

When you look back on this school in later years, what will you remember most?

“When I look back at this school in later years I’m gonna think of the teachers that supported me and helped me get to where I wanted to be.”
