What has been your favorite memory at Linganore?

“My favorite memory at Linganore would have to be the Mr. Linganore competition. It gave me the chance to put myself out there and bond with people I haven’t gotten to know before.”

What are you going to miss most after graduating?

“I’m going to miss being able to see my friends every day. There are at least 15 people I see almost every day, and it’s going to be weird not having that stability anymore.”

Do you feel pressure to have your future be decided already?

“I do feel like I should have my future decided already especially now that I’m going into college and starting my adult life.”

Best High School memory?

“My best memory just from the past four years was Halloween my sophomore year. Two friends and I dressed up as Monster High Characters and we did speed trick or treating.”

What is the most challenging task as a senior?

“The hardest thing as a senior was honestly finding the will to keep coming to school because having been accepted to a bunch of colleges and taking multiple college courses. Waking up at 6 a.m. to go to horticulture seemed futile.”

What advice do you have for incoming freshmen?

“I would suggest participating in a lot of extracurriculars, especially when you are young and don’t have a stable job yet. It forces you to meet a lot of people and it’s a bunch of potential friendships you can make.”

Where do you imagine yourself 10 years from now?

“Hopefully, I will have graduated college and graduated medical school. I imagine I’ll be in the middle of my residency. That’s crazy!”

What was the most meaningful assignment a teacher ever had you do?

“None of my assignments stood out. But, one time Mr. Lake described a composite function by comparing it to a turducken and that’s something that I will never purge from my mind. “

When you look back on this school in later years, what will you remember most?

“I’m going to remember a lot of things. Mostly my favorite teachers and how much I liked their classes. Shout out to Mr. Lake. I’ll remember color guard and my love/hate relationship with it. I’ll think about my friends because there are some friends that I have had through middle school that I did to cut off or we just fell out of touch, but I gained a ton more who gave me something to smile about.”
