Nathan Bankert
Nathan Bankert will be attending Frederick Community College, majoring in computer science.
He has played guitar for the past three years. Currently, he plays electric guitar for two bands, Now’s our Chance and Why am I. He participates in both bands through Let There Be Rock School, located in Frederick.
Starting his freshman year, he has worked at Mamma Angela’s as a busser and food runner. He is a member of the Asian American Culture Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and the indoor track team.
What has been your favorite memory at Linganore?
“My favorite memory would have to be going to almost all of the football games during the fall.”
What are you going to miss most after graduating?
“I think I’ll miss seeing my friends every day at school since we’re all going in different directions.”
Do you feel pressure to have your future be decided already?
“I do feel some pressure to have my future decided,but I know I still have some time to figure it out.”
Best high school memory?
“Just meeting my current friends group was one of my best memories during high school.”
What is the most challenging task as a senior?
“Preparing for college because I’m not sure what I want to do. It’s hard to prepare for what you don’t know.”
What advice do you have for incoming freshmen?
“Enjoy the time you have in high school. It flies by.”
Where do you imagine yourself 10 years from now?
“Definitely working and hopefully starting a family.”
What was the most meaningful assignment a teacher ever had you do?
“The career research project. It made me think about what I want to do in the future.”
When you look back on this school in later years, what will you remember most?
“I’ll always remember the time I spent with my friends most and all the fun things we did together.”
