Matthew Vallone

Mattew Vallone will be attending Salisbury University. He plans to major in exercise science. Some of his activities include, playing soccer, weight lifting, working at Popeyes, and playing basketball.

What has been your favorite memory at Linganore?

“My favorite memory was in freshman year when I would hang out with my friends after school before we went to our track meets.”

 What are you going to miss most after graduating? 

“I’m going to miss talking to my friends and talking to my teachers.”

Do you feel pressure to have your future be decided already?

“I did feel pressure when choosing my major. I was undecided for a long time.”

Best high school memory? 

“My best high school memory was when we beat Oakdale in football this year. The stadium went wild. It was dope.”

What is the most challenging task as a senior?

“The most challenging task is staying focused. Part of me wants to be done with school.”

What advice do you have for incoming freshmen?

“Don’t take everything too seriously: mess around, and have fun. Make some friends and memories. Four years goes by fast.”

Where do you imagine yourself 10 years from now?

“I imagine myself hopefully with a family and a solid career. I hope I’m financially stable.”

What was the most meaningful assignment a teacher ever had you do?

“It’s cool when teachers let you do assignments about your interests or what type of music you listen to. I like to see people who listen to and like stuff that I like to do.”

When you look back on this school in later years, what will you remember most?

“I’ll remember the fun gym classes and all the good memories I’ve had with friends.”
