Madison O’Brien
Madison O’Brien will be attending Shepherd University, majoring in engineering. She will also continue playing NCAA Divison II soccer. She is a member of the National Honor Society, a goalie for the LHS varsity soccer team, and runs track.
What has been your favorite memory at Linganore?
“I can’t think of any specific memories but just going to the football games, being a part of the Lady Tribe and just cheering everyone on was a great experience.
What are you going to miss most after graduating?
“Being on the sports teams, especially the track team since I’m not planning on running in college.”
Do you feel pressure to have your future be decided already?
“I think a little bit. I do have a lot of it figured out right now that I don’t feel as much pressure.”
What is the most challenging task as a senior?
“Probably just figuring out where you want to go. “
What advice do you have for incoming freshmen?
“Just enjoy it.”
Where do you imagine yourself 10 years from now?
“I want to go into the Air Force after college. I don’t know for how long. So maybe the Air Force or maybe working as an engineer.”
When you look back on this school in later years, what will you remember most?
“The school spirit. That’s something I love about this school. As well as the teachers, they are all very supportive and want you to succeed.”
