Victoria Garofolo

Victoria Garofolo will be attending University of Oklahoma. She plans to become a research scientist. She was a part of the varsity soccer team, the National Spanish Honor Society, and the National Science Honor Society, and the National Honor Society.

What has been your favorite memory at Linganore?

“My favorite memory was my first homecoming football game. It was so new and exciting.”

 What are you going to miss most after graduating? 

“I’m gonna miss seeing my friends every day.”

Do you feel pressure to have your future be decided already?

“I do feel pressure. It seems like every adult expects you to have your life figured out.”

Best high school memory? 

“My best high school memory was when I was chosen to be captain of the varsity girls soccer team.”

What is the most challenging task as a senior?

“The most challenging task is being motivated throughout the year. Senioritis is real!”

What advice do you have for incoming freshmen?

“I would tell incoming freshmen to make sure you take care of your mental health. It’s very important to be in a good mental state to succeed in school.”

Where do you imagine yourself 10 years from now?

“I imagine myself studying in school for a higher degree or with a job intending to study more.”

When you look back on this school in later years, what will you remember most?

“I will remember most how I felt. It’s been a tough year mentally, but I’ve been treading along one day at a time.”
