Samuel Metzner

Samuel Metzner will be attending Frostburg State University. He plans to major in psychology. He is currently on the track team and works at Papa Johns. 

What has been your favorite memory at Linganore?

“Winning my double at Smithsburg invite this year.”

 What are you going to miss most after graduating? 

“I will miss my friends and my teammates.”

Do you feel pressure to have your future be decided already?

 “Yes I feel a little pressured, but I am confident.”

Best High School memory? 

“My best high school memory was probably winning counties with my team and going to North Carolina for regionals.”

What is the most challenging task as a senior?

 “My most challenging task is figuring out what I do next.”

What advice do you have for incoming freshmen?

 “If you’re an incoming freshman, develop common sense and you’re all good.”

Where do you imagine yourself 10 years from now?

“I imagine myself with a stable job and a family.”

What was the most meaningful assignment a teacher ever had you do?

“The most meaningful assignment I have ever done was probably one for psychology because I really liked my class with Mrs. Murphy.”

When you look back on this school in later years, what will you remember most?

“I will remember my teammates and my friends whenever I look back at the school.”
