Russian teacakes recipe
- 1 cup soft butter
- ½ cup sifted confectionery sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¾ cup finely chopped pecans
Russian teacakes instructions
- Mix butter, sugar, and vanilla thoroughly
- Measure flour by dip-level-pour or by sifting
- Blend flour and salt then stir in
- Mix in pecans
- Chill for at least an hour
- Heat oven to 400 degrees
- Roll into 1 inch balls
- Place on ungreased cookie sheet
- Bake 10-12 minutes
- While warm roll into confectioners sugar
- Let cool
- Roll in sugar again
