Linganore 2020 Alumni, Jasmine Macker said, “I like cooking and making food as part of gifts.”
In this virtual world where we don’t see people besides a few faces on Google Meets or family members popping in, it’s really nice to see friends and extended family and be able to do something fun together. In a world where there is so much going on, take some time to spread Christmas joy and start celebrating the holiday season early.
“I started celebrating Christmas early this year because we need some happiness in 2020,” said Macker.
The holidays might look a lot different this year for some families that don’t put a stop for Christmas cheer and fun memories. From family gatherings to Zoom calls, we can still be able to see each other and have a good time. We can even watch movies virtually together.
April Martin, Preschool Teacher at MUMC, loves Christmas and celebrating the season.
“This Christmas season will look a lot different, but we will be venturing out and doing new things that we usually wouldn’t do because we typically don’t have time” to do them,” said Martin.
