Addictive Chocolate Coffee Cookies
Coffee Chocolate Chunk Cookie Recipe
- 1 ¾ cups flour
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
- cup (1 ½ sticks) butter
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup firmly packed brown sugar
- ¼ cup chilled freshly brewed strong coffee
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 package (8 squares) of chocolate bar, cut into chunks
Coffee Chocolate Chunk Cookie Instructions
- Mix flour and baking soda in small bowl
- Beat butter in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed to soften
- Gradually add sugars, beating until light and fluffy
- Beat in coffee, egg and vanilla
- Gradually add flour mixture, beating well after each addition
- Stir in chocolate chunks
- Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls, 2 inches apart, onto ungreased cookie sheet
- Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown
- Remove from cookie sheets
- Cool on wire rack
- Store in airtight container
