Senior Destinations 2019: Morgan Fink thanks Poffinberger for sport medicine inspiration

Morgan Fink chose to attend West Virginia University and will be pursuing an education in athletic coaching. He hopes to one day work with college or professional athletes.

This chosen path was decided recently when he took a Sports Medicine course with Ms. Andrea Poffinberger. It inspired him to look into a career with athletic training.

Luckily, Fink hasn’t had too many obstacles throughout high school, but he is excited about this next chapter, although nervous about leaving friends.

“My advice for any underclassman is to stay focused and to have fun as much as you can,” said Fink.

Throughout high school he was a part of the football team, the National German Honor Society, an FCA member, and was the runner up for Mr. Linganore 2019.

Fink is ready to start the next chapter of his life and be independent.

“I would like to thank my mother for always supporting me in my academics and friend Matt Beekey,” said Fink.
