On the surface, New Girl looks like any other sitcom. The concept is simple enough, a girl moves in with three guys and has to adjust to her new living situation. As the show carries on though, it grows into something so fun and amazing. New Girl is a show where the characters grow on you just as much as they grow on each other. Throughout the duration of the series, there is an underlying warm feeling of friendship which I absolutely love. Even if the characters fight or have the occasional falling out, they always act like family towards each other, which is something really special.

With New Girl comes so many happy feelings, and it is truly a pleasure to watch. The series is still ongoing and in its sixth season, with hopefully more to come. If you’re looking for a feel good show with an amazing cast and an addictive story line, then I highly suggest you give New Girl a watch.

My rating: Six episodes at a time – Even though I’m often guilty of watching entire seasons in one sitting, the show is too good to blow through that fast. Even so, each episode is only around 21-24 minutes, and after watching one it’s hard to stop.
