Field hockey counts down 15 more days: Ladies remember a season of friendship

Four senior field hockey ladies met for their countdown picture and remembered fine days on the field this fall playing hard as a team.

Goalie Amy Angeletti will be going to FCC to earn her general credits before transferring and studying meteorology.  She will miss all of her teachers, but Mr. Tony Miller (social studies) and Ms. Jessica Baker (science) the most.

Defensive back Kate Mannarino will be going to New Brunswick campus of Rutgers University to their pre-vet program, which is why she chose the New Jersey school  She is excited to have the opportunity to be in a big city, where she can “branch out and be more social.”

Midfielder Tanner Ridgely has been tapped to play field hockey at  Stevenson University Mustangs.  She will be studying in the pre-physical therapy program.  She remembers the football games at LHS as the highlight of her senior year.

Nicole Pohida is going to the Towson honors program to their nursing and bio-chemistry program. Few have seen Pohida on campus since her field hockey days because she spends most of her time on the FCC campus and at her NCI (National Cancer Institute) internship where she works with genome typing and PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) testing.
