Class of 2016: Strength Training flexes for 3 days
With 3 days remaining for senior Brianna Fay, Sabrina Moxley, and Jack Wilkerson, and the rest of the strength training class, they’re finishing up their final reps before heading off to college.
Wilkerson is going to Frederick Community College following his senior year, majoring in education. A vital asset to Linganore’s varsity football team, he will be missed.
“Favorable memory? Going to prom with Sabrina Moxley,” said Wilkerson.
Also FCC bound, Sabrina does’t know exactly what she will be studying while in college, but she does plan to come back next year sometime to see the girls soccer team play.
After reaching the Maryland State finals two years in a row and having heartbreaking losses, she has high hopes for the future of girl’s soccer.
“I’d have to say that my most favorable memory was going to prom with Jack Wilkerson,” said Moxley.
Surprisingly, neither senior went to prom with the other.
Leaving Linganore on a high note, Cheerleader Fay is headed off to High Point University.
“My most favorable memory probably had to be winning regionals during my junior year,” said Fay.
“I’m going to miss just seeing my friends everyday and the relationships that I’ve formed with my teachers.”
