Class of 2016: Mr. Linganore finalists count 34 days left a trendsetting year

As the year comes to a close, memories have been made, friendships have blossomed, and trends have surely been set.

The finalists of the 2016  Mr. Linganore, Matt DeMember (first place), Matt Watson (second place), and Justin Knotts (third place), reflect on the influence of the pageant on their senior year.

DeMember will be attending Grove City College in the fall to study business.

The University of Maryland is where Watson plans to attend to study mathematics.

Knotts is enrolled in College of the Holy Cross to study Pre-Medicine.

“Mr. Linganore has brought me close to a lot of guys in our school and was my favorite memory of senior year,” said DeMember.

“Mr. Linganore was definitely my favorite memory,” agreed Watson. “It forced me to go outside of my comfort zone.”

“Mr. Linganore was something I never thought that I’d do, yet I took a chance. I’d say it will probably be one of the biggest highlights of my senior year, and I wouldn’t hesitate to say yes if I had the chance to do it again.” Knotts added.

All of the boys agreed that they will truly miss all of the friends they have made and the teachers they have surely made proud as they continue their education.
