Class of 2016: AP Composition marks 24 days before seniors leave
Mr. Nick Tringali’s AP Composition class recognizes that, with just 24 more days of school, they have even less time before the AP exams begin, and they are in the preparation phase.
Mr. Tringali said he is helping his AP Composition class by, “holding after-school review sessions each Wednesday, leading up to the exam on May 11. We review the different tasks in the sections of the exam and the strategies that work for each section. We practice with old, released exams to refine students’ skills. Students are given resources to use to prepare for the exam on their own.”
The AP Composition exam practice and review activities will be on Wednesday afternoons from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm. Practice and reviews begin today.
Mr. Trinagali will miss,”The interaction with these students and the satisfaction–and sometimes joy–that results from working with young adults as they think and grow throughout the course. We cover quite a bit of material related to college writing and complex texts and language, and I have genuinely enjoyed leading this year’s students on the journey.”
