As Linganore celebrates another year of Homecoming, the game that led up to it was just as exciting.

Linganore High School faced off against the Tuscarora High School Titans in their Homecoming game on October 7.

Linganore varsity football lost their last game to Middletown High School 0-7, so they took this opportunity to bounce back from a rough game the previous Friday. The Lancers were thriving throughout the entire game.

Running back Ethan Arneson began the scoring with a  rushing touchdown as he ran over defenders. The top three offensive performers were Christian Petruzzelo (QB) who ran for a touchdown and threw a memorable 97-yard pass, Ethan Arneson who finished with 2 touchdowns along with an impressive 118 rushing yards, and Dylan Reyes who scored 1 touchdown along with 73 receiving yards.

The student section was far more excited, cheering, screaming and chanting every time Linganore scored, despite the blowout. The theme of that night was a pink out which represents Lancers against breast cancer. Everyone wore their colorful pink shirt while eating, laughing with friends, and enjoying their time at the Homecoming game overall.

Many Linganore students spent their Friday evening watching a thrilling game and waiting for the Homecoming dance on Saturday, October 8. The Lancer pride was evident in all thse supporting their team as they scored touchdown after touchdown throughout the night.
