Lancer Spotlight 10/7/21: Lancer Golf places second in CMC tournament

On October 5 the varsity golf team placed second at the CMC golf tournament. The tournament was held at Black Rock Country Club and they came up one point short of Urbana. 

“This is the best that we have performed all season. The team has improved so much since the start of the season and I’m excited to see how the rest of the season goes,” said Bradley Rose. 

Ethan Crabb was the Medalist Runner up, scoring a total of 72 and helping the team perform their best match of the season.  Coming back from an injury, Crabb was able to help the team succeed. 

Junior Logan Perish scored an personal best of 76.

“I was so happy to receive a 76. It was a huge accomplishment and a big help to the team overall,” said Perish.

Seniors Sam Johnson, Ethan Crabb, Austin May, Bradley Rose, and Junior Logan Perish were the players who qualified to compete in the tournament.
