On September 27, members of the Fashion Club put their heads together for a brainstorm session during the first meeting of the 2021-22 school year.

President Maeve Smarick led introductions of the club’s leaders, as well as information on what Fashion Club has done in the past two school years. Some of these things include working on becoming a Nationally recognized Fashion Club and collaborating with small businesses.

“I’m so excited for this year! This is our first full in-person year of Fashion Club! We have so many awesome ideas that we can’t wait to start working on,” said Smarick.

When it comes to planning for expansion, the members of Fashion Club pitched plenty of ideas such as: organizing with thrift stores, creating outfit challenges, getting festive for holidays, and working to make our community more sustainable when it comes to clothing.

One of the most acclaimed ideas involved creating a blog post that includes a list of affordable and easy Halloween costume ideas.

Fashion Club meets on the first Tuesday of every month, so stay tuned for information on what the club will be up to this year! Be sure to check out their Instagram @linganorefashionclub!
