Senior Countdown 2019: NEHS officers plan their future ac’cord’ingly with 21 days left

April 23, 2019, marks the 21st day left for members of the Class of 2019. Although there is still one month of high school left, summer is approaching quickly.

National English Honor Society officers are preparing to distribute cords to graduating members, as well as pass on their leadership duties to a new group of student leaders.

President Emily Reed plans to attend Robert Morris University and study Actuarial Science. Vice President Sarah Buckley will be attending Frederick’s Hood College and double majoring in global studies and business. Secretary Jacob Bolger plans to attend Mount Saint Mary’s University and study computer science and cybersecurity. Treasurer Alex Ismael will become a Hokie while studying engineering at Virginia Tech. Finally, Beau Cameron will attend School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) to major in creative writing.

“Linganore High School is great because of its sense of community. It was very welcoming when I moved here sophomore year,” said Buckley.

These members have loved their time at Linganore High School and are excited for their bright futures.
