On March 9, the girls lacrosse team traveled to UMBC to see Adriana D’amore and watch her play Division I lacrosse. Both JV and varsity teams went to the UMBC versus Temple game.  The Retrievers lost with a score of 16-12.

Defensive player Ella Mccaffrey said, “I really enjoyed watching this lacrosse game. I felt like I was able to learn so much from the players on and off the field.”

As a whole, the game was such a fun experience and a great way for both teams that were there to get a better grip of the sport and learn some new tactics along the way.

New players learned the boundaries for their positions and specific dodges that the players use in offensive plays.

Varsity coach Brooke Wilson said, “Saturday’s game was a perfect way to bring the girls from both programs to watch some incredible lacrosse, while cheering on an alum who has contributed so much to the lacrosse program.”
