On October 25 the Linganore Lancers defeated Tuscarora High School with a final score of 54-15.

Traditionally, every October, the student section shows their support for breast cancer awareness with a pink-out theme.

In an effort to raise money for the American Cancer Society, the Student Government Association had a table to sell neon pink t-shirts.

The shirts were $15 and all proceeds went toward the American Cancer Society.

The shirts were first sold at Back to School Night and will continue throughout October at every lunch shift.

Senior Katie Brengel said, “I think it’s really fun and unifying. Not only did everyone look great wearing pink out shirts, but the shirts help show our community’s support towards fighting breast cancer.”

A final number of t-shirts sold and total money raised will be totaled soon!
