On March 28, Girls Varsity Lacrosse took a loss against the Middletown Knights at home. The final score of the game was 4-19. Although they lost, the team was overall content with their first performance.

Offensive player Clare Beiter said, “Compared to last game, we came out with a lot more intensity. They were a very competitive team with a lot of skill, but we were able to give all we had and play our game.”

The four goals of the game were made by Mary Britton, Avery Robertson, Alexi Crosby, and Hunter Levinson. Each girl was able to use speed and dodges to get around Middletown’s tough defensive players and make a goal for their team.

Defensive player Gabbi Young said, “Defense came out really strong and took everything we worked on in practice and brought it to the game.”

The team’s next game will be an away game against North Hagerstown on April 2. JV will begin at 5:30 and Varsity will begin at 7:00.
