Girls basketball tryouts have been changed for today, times are now: Varsity-2:30-4:00 and JV- 4:00-5:30 

Reminder: Boys’ Basketball tryouts are today, Varsity starts at 2:30 and JV at 4:30. Please see Coach O’Connor with questions. 

On Monday, November 18 Wilson College located in Chambersburg, PA is coming to Linganore. Sign up today in Student Service or Naviance if you’re interested in learning more about Wilson College. 

Do you have an interest or talent for public speaking? Want to be considered for scholarships and prizes from $500 to $1800? Then you should enter the National High School Oratorical Contest! Speaking subjects must be on some aspect of the U.S. Constitution, with some emphasis on the duties and obligations of citizens to our government. Speeches are eight to 10 minutes long; three- to five-minute speeches on an assigned topic also are part of the contest. If you are interested please see Mr. Burch in room A215 or go to the website legion.org/oratorical. 

The Key Club is collecting can tabs for the Ronald McDonald House at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore. Please pull the tab from your cans at lunch and bring in your tabs from home. Collection bins are located on the pillars in the cafeteria or in the main office. 

Seniors turn in your senior quote form by the end of today to the Yearbook In box outside room A206. Extra forms are in room A206 or front office. 

WAGS for HOPE will be in the cafeteria during all lunch shifts today. These are specially trained dogs here to petted and loved. They love the attention. Stop by. 

Good morning from the French Honor Society. Today is your last chance to find a decorated rock and to answer our trivia question. There are a few more rocks left. If you find one, bring it to C229 for a special prize. 

Yesterday’s trivia question answer is: that according to French law, 40 % percent of music on the radio must be in French. 

Here is our last trivia question: What type of animal is escargot? Leave your answer in the learning commons.
