December Saturdays in Frederick downtown: holiday shopping, entertainment and hot cocoa

by Haley Enders, Reporter

The four Saturdays of December are well spent in downtown Frederick. December Saturdays include plenty of activities, and the last Stop & Shop opporunity is Saturday, December 22. You’ll find holiday lights late-night shopping and dining, live music on the streets, caroling, and even a free trolley ride from 3-9pm. Hot cocoa is available at many stores, which makes the brisk weather worth it.

There’s a different theme for every weekend, each theme highlighting one of the many loved aspects of the historic city. Such as shopping, wine tasting, and the sights.

“I think it’s a really good place to get together with family and friends,” said Dana Kullgren. “I especially like the book store: The Curious Iguana; it has something for everyone.”
