PREP rally for states held on Main Street: Photo of the Day 11/29/18

by Erich Miller, reporter

November 29 was Lancer Day.. Students and staff all dressed in Lancer colors, red and black, in anticipation of the 3A state football championship. The Lancers will take on Franklin High School at Navy stadium in Annapolis at 7 p.m.

On Main Street the band performed the fight song before PREP. The tribe chant followed the fight song. The students were hyped as can be. The tribe leader Alex Gresh led the chant and got all the students involved. This chant was the largest this school year, with hundreds crowded around the balcony.

The lady tribe decorated Main Street on the morning of November 29 in banners of red and black.

Sophomore, right guard Scott Hummel said, “It’s bittersweet knowing we’ve made it this far but don’t have anymore games to go. I’m just grateful we’ve played for as long as we have, and I’m excited to be playing in the state championship.”

If you can’t go to the game, it will be streamed by Lancer Digital Communications class. Be sure to go out and support your Lancers tonight against Franklin.
