On February 17, indoor guard members competed at Susquehannok High School, located in York County, Pennsylvania.

The white level guard, under the direction of Will Hernandez and Emma Burke, placed fourth overall, with their show for this year titled, “I Don’t Belong Here.” in which the intention is to make the audience relate to the feeling of being an outcast and different than everybody else. The gold level guard placed fifth overall with their show for this year titled, “Stand by You.”

Guard members not only enjoyed a day where they could express their talents, and do what they enjoy in competition, but also they enjoyed the time they could spend with their fellow guard members.

Katie Morseman, a member of the white level guard said, “The competition was really fun and a great experience. Everyone gets along really well, and we all performed our best.”

White level guard members say, “We feel like we did well at remembering the new work that we learned over the week, but we could all improve on facial expressions.”

The next guard performance is at Brunswick on February 28.  The following competition is at Urbana on March 3.
