Until March 12, the community can place orders for a variety of subs to support FFA. The types of subs include Italian, roast beef, turkey, American cold cut, ham & American/Swiss and many more on 5” or 12” rolls. The price is $6.00 per sub, regardless of the size. The FFA is selling 16” extra cheese pizza that comes baked and ready to eat for just $11.00.

“The subs are made fresh that day,” Mr.Thomas said. Since all subs are made fresh that day, they want to make sure they have enough ingredients to make enough subs for everyone. And if students forget their money, they can still place their order, just be prepared to bring the money before March 20.  All unclaimed subs that day will be up for grabs for anyone the next day.

The profits will go to the FFA, Future Farmers of America, to help fund their programs. FFA unites high schools and volunteers with a passion for farming of all over Frederick to learn about agriculture. FFA members are eligible for a scholarship up to $1,500.

Students also get an education about animal husbandry. This program is perfect for people who want to learn more about the role of agriculture in the future.

Place orders by March 12 in B126, and pick up orders on March 20th in the same room or by the greenhouse from 2:00-4:30pm.
