On March 23, the cast of Linganore’s production of Footloose gathered for another rehearsal after school. With the first performance only about a month away, the cast is getting ready for the final stretch.
The vocal group for the song “Let’s Hear it for the Boy” worked with Mr. Damon Dye on learning the notes and timing for the song. Sam Buckman has the main vocals for the song. While they were practicing the atmosphere in the room was light and supportive, even with their most serious purpose.
Everyone is enthusiastic about making this production the best that it can be and each supports the other.
Cast member Elizabeth Gilmore said, “It’s been so much fun working with all these people, and I’m sad it’s going to end soon, ‘cause it’s such a collaborative experience working with everyone.”
