Seniors enrolled in V-O-S courses are scheduled to end next week. Underclassman are scheduled to end the week of May 21st. All students should be scheduling their final exam one week prior to taking the exam with Mr. Hines. Please email him to schedule a time to take your final.  

New Market Elementary School is having its annual Spring Fest Event on Friday, May 11th from 5-8.  Each year students are a HUGE help in volunteering at this event to help run games, concessions, and other activities. If any student would like to volunteer please email Jesse Mollet at the email below.

Do you need a few more community hours? If so, here is a great opportunity! Green Valley Elementary School is having their annual School Carnival on Saturday May 19th. Help is needed to set-up, run the games, and clean up after the fun is over. You can volunteer May 18th and 19th. To sign up for a volunteer spot please contact Dawn Kling at the link below.

Thursday, May 10th the Advanced Theater Production class will be putting on their spring show: The Seussification of Romeo and Juliet. The show begins at seven pm in the auditorium. Tickets are five dollars at the door and only two dollars for students.

Seniors are reminded to register for Safe & Sane as soon as possible. The cost to register goes up to 50 dollars on May 13th. If you need a new application form, visit the link below.

Prom in Saturday, May 12 at the Clarion Event Center in Frederick.  The prom starts at 7:00 pm and ends at 10:00 pm. The crowning of king and queen will take place at 8:45 and prom favors will be given to you as you leave starting at 9 pm. Remember if your guest is not a Linganore student, they must bring a photo ID.

Tonight are the CMC Baseball & Softball Championships where Linganore Softball will take on Catoctin at Hood College. The game starts at 6 and the cost for admission is five dollars for adults and students. Make sure to come out and show support for the team.

Congrats to LHS student-athlete, Jeremy Carter, who is one of the 14 winners of the 2018 Maryland Public Secondary Schools Athletic Association, “Minds in Motion” Scholarship. He will be honored on May 31st with the other winners.

The softball team will be holding a fundraiser at buffalo wild wings today from 11 AM to closing. Simply show this flyer while dining to have a percentage of your meal support the Softball program.
