Juniors and Seniors:  If you are taking a guest to prom you need to turn in a completed guest form for your non-Linganore prom guest to Ms. Larson by the end of the day today.

All senior dance and drama students who are interested in either the National Honor Society for Dance Arts or the International Thespian Society needs to turn in their recorded point sheets to Mrs. Smithhisler by Monday, May 7th in order to be inducted. New Market Elementary School is having its annual Spring Fest Event on Friday May 11th from 5-8.  Each year students are a HUGE help and volunteer at this event to help run games, concessions, and other activities. If any students would like to volunteer or need volunteer hours please email Jesse Mollet at the email below.

LHS Character Counts program hosted the Cruisin for a Cause Car Show on Sunday. This event was to benefit 2 local children’s charities: Student Homelessness Initiative Partnership and Children Of Incarcerated Parents. With about 80 participants showing up with their beautiful cars, trucks and motorcycles over $1000 was raised for the charities.

Ms Aburto would like to give a shout out to all her Class of 2020 volunteers and few from other classes. A special thank you to Daylin Palmer for his handmade, one of a kind trophies! Also thank you Bobby’s Garage for sponsoring the prize money that went with trophies! Hope to see you all next year at Cruisin for a Cause!

The boys varsity baseball team had a tough loss against Urbana yesterday with a score of 4 to 3 in the 10th inning. Garrett Schwartzbeck and James Jones each had two hits with a double for Linganore and Sam Downs had 10 strikeouts for the Lancers.

The boys lacrosse team will be playing in the CMC championship tomorrow against Oakdale. The game will be held at Hood College and starts at 1:00 PM. Good luck boys!

The boys and girls tennis teams will be taking on Oakdale this afternoon. The matches will be played at Oakdale and start at 4. Good luck lancers!

Varsity baseball and softball teams will also be playing this afternoon in games against Winters Mill. The games will be played at home and both start at 4:30. Come out to support the teams!
