Would you like to see your teacher be pied? Now is your chance! Until March thirteenth, Mu Alpha Theta will be hosting a Pi Day charity contest at lunch and in Prep. All you have to do is put your donations in the bins with the name of the staff member you want to be pied.  Each of the ten staff volunteers have chosen a charity for their donations to be given to.

Ms.Doll will be collecting donations for Breast Cancer Awareness, Ms. Pupo for Pro Mujer, Ms. Karstens for Pet Harbor, Ms. Byrd for ARC of Frederick,  Ms Diggs, Ms. Rebetsky, Ms. Purgason, Ms. Weiss and Ms. Blum all for Lily’s Hope, and Mr. Brown for Linganore’s Relay for Life.

Congratulations to Sarah Buckley and Amelia Jansen for being two of the three students from Frederick County that made all-state band this year! They are among the top 10 players of their respective instruments in the state of Maryland! Amazing job!

The softball team is hosting an apparel fundraiser. Visit the link below to place your orders and support our softball team. Final orders will be due March 12th.

FCPS will be hosting the second annual environmental expo on April 14th, and are looking for student volunteers. This is an excellent opportunity to earn science national honor society hours. See the link below for more information and to sign up to volunteer.  

Good luck to Katie Gallagher, who will be competing in the high jump at the New Balance National Championships this Friday in New York City.

Congratulations to our FFA members Katelyn Iager (Yeager) who took Gold in the FFA Creed Leadership Development Event  and Ryan Mundunedo who took Gold in the Extemporaneous Speaking contest. They both will compete next in the state competition this June.
