The UMBC Center for Women in Technology is accepting applications from high school junior girls interested in finding out more about the fields of engineering and computing. If you have any questions see Mr. Greene.

If you are not an athlete, but want to support the cause, you can make a donation today during all lunch shifts.

The Cool School Challenge is fast approaching! On January twenty fifth, hundreds of brave students from all over Maryland are going to plunge into the Chesapeake bay to raise money and awareness for the Special Olympics. Help Linganore reach our goal of 3 thousand, 500 dollars. See Mr. Brown in room C101 to sign up today.

It’s a cold one today Linganore. We have a wind chill advisory until noon today, then it’ll go back into effect at six and will stay up until noon tomorrow. Our winds today are going to be 15 to 25 miles per hour with gusts between 45 and 50 miles per hour. Cold wind chills can cause frostbite in as little as 30 minutes to exposed skin, today our chills are between negative 5 and negative 15 so make sure you’re wearing hats and gloves when you go out. Stay warm Lancers.
