The Linganore Holiday Concert is this Thursday, December 6 at 7:00 pm in the Linganore auditorium. Any monetary donation would be greatly appreciated at the box office.

The Eric Byrd Trio will be bringing A Charlie Brown Christmas to Linganore on Thursday, December 20 at 7:00 pm. Buy your tickets at showtix4u.com

The Linganore Brass Ensemble will be playing carols at the FSK Mall on Wednesday, December 19 from 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm, and before school in the Linganore hallways on Thursday and Friday, December 20 and 21 for all to enjoy the holiday season.

Future Educators of America is Linganore’s new club designed to help future teachers with the skills they need to be successful. They are given volunteer opportunities at local schools. Students give back to the Linganore community while simultaneously gaining professional skills. FEA will meet every third Friday during club days. If interested, see Mrs. Lane in A124. The first meeting is on December 7th.

The Linganore Drama Department is holding auditions for their spring musical, Beauty and the Beast. All students are welcome to audition! Auditions are from 2:30-6:30, and will be held in room D101 or onstage on December 11th, 12th, and 13th. Packets with all required information about the auditions are outside of room D101. See Mrs. Smithhisler with any questions.

The English Department is sponsoring Writers’ Week from December 10th –  13th. Join any day during PREP or after school to get help with scholarship essays, creative writing, Young Authors’ contest, and crafting.  Sign up outside of Ms. Troxel’s room C222 by Friday, December 7th. NEHS students can earn hours for participation.

The Harry Potter Alliance is collecting gently used books for people in need. Please bring any books you would like to donate to the learning commons. Books will be collected up until the end of this month.
